Welcome all! This is a temporary site I have set up for my dad untill we can get him a full website to post all of his adventures in the Arctic Circle.

Wow this place is really different. My first few days here were at     -30 now it's warmed up a bit to around -2...a hot spell!! Let me tell you at -30 it's cold, not just cold but painful cold. My cloths work great, no problem in keeping warm, in fact I haven't as yet really had to use the warmest. But I didn't have my bank robber's mask and my nose nearly fell off!! At least now I've finally got my bag.
